The world of Max's Obsession

Max has been our strange child from the beginning. Don't get me wrong we love that little boy. His obsessions are hilarious. A few months ago it was cars. Then monster trucks. In February, it was cats. Now he's obsessed with cleaners. I mean out of your mind come back to reality obsessed. Ironically, the kid loves to get dirty. 

He loves to help with anything that has anything to do with Soap. Laundry soap, bath soap, dish washing soap, oxyclean it just doesn't matter. The one thing he has remembered during our conversations about soap is, how dangerous Clorox is. He will even pretend in the bathtub that he's doing laundry, and his tea cup is always full of dangerous clorox that nobody can touch. We go to Target and he walks up and down the laundry detergent aisle in total amazement. And he's always saying, "mom, I want that soap next year for Christmas." He's the only 31/2 year old I can think of who would actually sit and watch the Oxyclean infomercial just because it's a cleaner. So, along with his obsession of soap he loves to do laundry. Chase and don't mind this so much. The kid can really clean the lint trap and he does ok with sorting by color too! The shrill he gives when he puts that soap in the wash is hilarious. I hope he likes to do it just as much when he's a teenager. Chase and I would gladly give up that task!
